Thursday nights at Calypso are anything but ordinary. Step up, grab the mic, and bring the house down with DJ Julz Gat! From singalongs to showstoppers, the crowd is here for it all.

Pro Tip: nothing pairs better with karaoke than a cold Twisted Tea in hand, grab one for just $4! 

It’s alive… IT’S ALIVE!  Join us Friday, October 31st from 8PM–2AM for our Monster Mash Raveyard — a night where ghosts, ghouls, and goblins take over the dance floor!

Sip on spooky themed cocktails, vibe to eerie beats, and dance the night away with all your favorite creatures of the night — Frankenstein, witches, vampires, mummies, and you! 

 Costumes are highly encouraged — the classics are back from the grave! So grab your fangs, dust off your broomsticks, and come get wicked with us. No tricks, just spooky sips and monster mischief all night long!

Calypso’s Annual Oyster Roast is back Saturday, November 8th from 12p-5p and it’s gonna be BIGGER than ever!

What started as a simple idea has grown into one of the most beloved traditions at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront — and now, for the 14th year in a row, Calypso is proud to host our Annual Oyster Roast! Year after year, oyster lovers like YOU make this event what it is. Together, we’ve shared laughs, raised glasses, slurped more oysters than we can count, and most importantly — given back to our community.  

 This year, we’re doing it all again:  

-ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT OYSTERS + Drinks Included.  

-Complimentary Oyster Roast 2025 Shirt for all ONLINE Ticket Holders.  

-A beachfront celebration full of music, fun, and friends. 

-Support for the Christmas Shopping Tour Charity with help from the Virginia Beach Jaycees — helping bring joy to local kids and families during the holidays.

      This event has always been about more than oysters. It’s about community, tradition, and coming together for something bigger than ourselves.

For the first 100 guests, tickets will be $75, after that they will go up.  Day of tickets will be $85.
